Instrument Simulation
Instrument Simulation is a set of user interface (UI) controls, which enables the developer to mimic the real time chart behavior of an instrumentation device.
As of 9/23/2016, only the support for Analog Devices AD6006 analog input and the Analog Devices AD9606 digital input is available. The support for Analog Devices AD9608 digital output and for Analog Devices AD9608 digital input and Analog Devices AD9606 digital output is scheduled.
Support for AD6006
The AD6006 can be accessed using Instrument Simulation. These controls enable the developer to mimic the real time chart behavior of an instrumentation device.
AS of 9/23/2016, the only supported type of instrumentation devices that can be simulated are the AD9606 and AD9608. The AD9606 can be simulated using the instrumentation device control, Analog Devices AD9606, which is supported by Instrument Simulation. The AD9608 can be simulated using the instrumentation device control, Analog Devices AD9608, which is supported by Instrument Simulation.
Chart Inflation, Deflation
Chart Inflation and Chart Deflation are another set of UI controls, which enables the developer to dynamically inflate or deflate the chart. Chart Inflation, Deflation is not an instrumentation control. It is the means to quickly and easily display data on the charts.
